Care and Maintenance
Every cutting board we sell comes with a free tin of our Premium Cutting Board Butter. Our board butter contains our own blend of food grade mineral oil, bee's wax, and carnauba wax. We recommend a monthly application of our board butter, or as needed if the board appears dry. With proper care, our boards will last forever.
Care tips:
- Always dry your cutting board on its side, instead of flat on the counter.
- Clean by gently scrubbing with warm water and a sponge. DO NOT use harsh detergents or as they may be absorbed into the board.
- Reapply cutting board butter at least once a month, or as a minimum, wipe the board down with food grade mineral oil. DO NOT use vegetable or olive oils, as they may go rancid over time.
Specifications and Options
Our cutting boards are made to order! Please let us know if you wish to have any customizations on your cutting board and we will try our best to help out. As wood is a product of nature, each cutting board is unique and may have slightly varying patterns, colors, and wood grains. These variations are only cosmetic in nature and do not affect the usability and quality of the cutting board.
